Meditation And Guided Imagery Workshop

 

In this workshop you will learn the difference between meditation, guided imagery and visualisation, the different types of silent meditation and both the physical and psychological benefits of meditation.  You will also learn the many uses of guided imagery, how to use faith to heal dis-ease, how to balance your chakras and how meditation can bring about global peace.

Coaching

My coaching sessions are a combination of methods used in Performance/Life Coaching and those developed by Louise Hay.

Louise Hay Coaching

Louise Hay is a metaphysical councillor and teacher who, before retirement, devoted her life to assisting others in discovering and using the full potential of their own creative powers. Her philosophy stated simply is ‘when we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.’ The work of Louise Hay is the basis on which many of today’s self help books have been written and one to one sessions using her methods are the stepping stones from which you will take an amazing leap forward allowing yourself to accept change and what is more important, to love yourself just the way you are.

Coaching using the methods developed by Louise Hay is an opportunity to practice techniques for self-growth. These sessions will get to the core of the issues that are restricting your growth and will help to remove resistance you have to change and allow you to lead your best life. 

 

You will be given tools to help you to -

  • Remove old negative blocks and habits
  • Take control of and release destructive thought patterns
  • Release anger, pain, resentment and fear
  • Grow in confidence and start making new goals
  • Accept love and remove negative relationships
  • Learn to love yourself 

Performance/Life Coaching

Performance/Life Coaching is the application of a variety of coaching techniques such as those used in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Transactional Analysis (TA), Life Coaching and Psychology, to name a few. Using the most appropriate technique, learning is facilitated or  ‘teased out’ of the individual to allow them to find new ways of thinking about, and understanding, their own world. This then helps them discover new choices for themselves. 

Once these new choices have been found, the individual is encouraged to find a viable path to their goal that motivates them to succeed. In addition to the above Performance/Life Coaching brings the individual to new levels of awareness in other areas or contexts of their lives, for example, gaining confidence in their own ability to plan their lives and to succeed.    

 

Breathwork

Until recently western civilisation has had little awareness of the power of the breath until it became used as part of stress management programmes. In the healing breath work process, a complete, circular breathing technique is used which quickly and safely gets the individual in touch with, and releases, our deepest emotions. This is a powerful process that can literally break down blocks on a mental, emotional, physical and cellular level. The experience can differ from session to session, and hence the process can be repeated and used as an on ongoing vehicle for change.
 
A breath session lasts approximately 2 hours. It involves taking a brief client history and looking at your individual needs. The actual breathing is undertaken lying down on the floor in a comfortable position, with blankets and padding for comfort. This breath is continued for approximately three quarters of an hour, during which time the therapist, uses various techniques to improve and develop the breath. The sessions ends with a period of relaxation/deep meditation. The whole session uses loud, inspiring music.
